Baby GIRL Ultrasound

The ultrasound photos from our 16 week appointment are below! You can see her perfectly in the 4D pictures! I can't wait to see how much she's grown when we go back in 2 weeks for our 20 week appointment...

It's a GIRL!

18 Weeks

18 weeks and counting! AH! As you can see, I am definitely showing!! I feel as if I started showing the minute we found out we were expecting. In my case, it's true what they say about showing much quicker with your second child!

Time is flyyyying this time around. If the second half of this pregnancy is anything like the first half, baby GIRL will be here before we know it. Unbelievable!! Meanwhile, we have been so busy! We went on a ski trip week before last with Eric's family and had a great time. I was told by my Dr that I could ski as long as I was "smart about it". So I did! But only on the bunny slope and a couple green slopes. I went down slow and easy and had a wonderful time. I only threw up one time while on vacation so I think I'm finally rounding the corner. Hopefully the naseau will stop completely any day now! This little girl is putting me through the ringer.

On another note - I can feel her kicking or punching or moving now!! I've been feeling tiny "thumps" for the past 2-3 weeks, but nothing consistent. Now she moves all the time! It's such a wonderful feeling. I'd forgotten how many smiles a day each movement can bring :) Eric hasn't felt her yet - but I think it's just a matter of timing. I can feel her with my hand from the outside every now and then so hopefully Eric and Weston will feel her with their own hands soon.

We go back to our 20 week appointment on March 2. I'm excited to see how much baby girl has grown!

Weston's Going to be a BIG BROTHER!

Weston is going to be a big brother! We are SO excited! Since I'm starting this blog a little late (we have been so busy!), I'm going to recap this pregnancy from the beginning. I also keep a written pregnancy journal - this was my Mom's journal when she was pregnant with me...I wrote in it while pregnant with Weston...and have been writing in it since we found out I was pregnant again. I'm going to basically copy what I've written in the journal so the information is more accurate.

7 Weeks - We discovered we were pregnant with baby #2 when we were around 7 weeks along. I began to get extremely tired and wasn't feeling quite up to par. We took a test and voila! POSITIVE!

8-15 Weeks - The nausea has been awful - and the throwing up has been worse! While pregnant with Weston I was nauseated so much of the time but only threw up a few times. With this baby, I have been throwing up nonstop! YUCK! This was my first and only suspicion that we were having a girl. I literally throw up almost every day - and sometimes more than once or twice a day. It's exhausting.

16 Weeks - We went to our first Dr appointment here in Nashville on February 3rd. We had a great appointment and ultrasound - we found out that we are due July 23, 2012 - AND that we are having a BABY GIRL!!! We couldn't believe it!! I immediately started crying and asked the tech if she was sure. She said she was definitely sure! Eric and I were in shock (Eric more than me) because we were just convinced we were having another boy. But God has other plans - a little girl is on the way!!! :)
